Day 01: Trekking from Sembalun to Crater Rim
- Breakfast at Base Camp Sembalun
- Destination: Senaru Village or Sembalun Village
06:00 AM – Wake up and enjoy breakfast.
07:00 AM – Transfer to Sembalun Village (approximately 45–60 minutes drive).
- Registration at the Rinjani Information Center (RIC) – Elevation 1,051 meters
- Start trekking to POS 1 (Pemantauan Post) – Elevation 1,300 meters (about 2 hours walk)
- Take a 10-minute break at POS 1
- Continue trekking to POS 2 (Tengengean Post) – Elevation 1,500 meters (about 1 hour walk)
- Take a 10-minute break at POS 2
- Continue to POS 3 (Pada Balong) – Elevation 1,800 meters (about 1 hour walk)
- Lunch will be served at POS 3 followed by a 2-hour rest
After lunch:
- Continue trekking for about 3 hours to reach the Sembalun Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun) – Elevation 2,639 meters
- Upon arrival, enjoy the stunning sunset views from the crater rim
- Dinner and overnight stay at the Sembalun Crater Rim campsite.
Day 02: Summit Attack and Return to Sembalun Village
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided on the mountain.
02:30 AM – Wake up and have a light breakfast.
03:00 AM – Start trekking to the Summit of Mount Rinjani (3,726 meters).
- The trek to the summit takes approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes
- Upon reaching the summit, enjoy the spectacular sunrise with breathtaking views of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake
After enjoying the summit:
- Return to the campsite at the crater rim for a full breakfast and a short rest
- Begin descending back to Sembalun Village via the same trail
- The descent will take approximately 5 hours.
- Lunch (fresh fruits and snacks) will be provided at POS 3 or POS 2 along the way
- Upon arrival at Sembalun Village, you will be transferred to Senaru and return to our office (approximately 1-hour drive)
- Collect your stored luggage and prepare for your next destination (Bangsal Harbor, Senggigi, or Mataram City)
